A 29-year-old man has died after he was struck by a police vehicle in the Springfield Road area of West Belfast.

A 29-year-old man has died after he was struck by a police vehicle in the Springfield Road area of West Belfast.

The incident happened at about 3am today as the police vehicle was responding to an emergency.

The Police Ombudsman has been notified and is investigating the incident.
