HSE takes over running of Leas Cross nursing home

The Health Service Executive has taken over the running of the Leas Cross nursing home in north Co Dublin following revelations about the poor standard of care at the facility.

The HSE has appointed a director of nursing to oversee the running of the home in Swords, as well as a number of other experienced staff.
