Throat infection forces Pavarotti to cancel show

Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti tonight pulled out of a planned concert in Dublin due to a serious throat infection.

The acclaimed singer had been due to perform to a sell-out crowd at the Point Theatre in what was expected to be his last show in Ireland.
