Dunnes Stores workers in Limerick's Harvey's Quay are holding a one-day strike today to protest at what they say is a "negative attitude" among management at the store.

Dunnes Stores workers in Limerick's Harvey's Quay are holding a one-day strike today to protest at what they say is a "negative attitude" among management at the store.

Their union, Mandate, has accused management of adopting an extremely negative attitude towards genuine concerns held by the staff.

The employees say they are being forced to work outside their contract hours and that their concerns about health and safety issues are also being ignored.
