Opposition asks Govt to delay new disabilities legislation

Opposition parties have called on the Government to delay the introduction of new disabilities legislation to allow for additional consultation.

Groups working with the disabled are unhappy with the proposed Disability Bill and have accused the Government of rushing it through the Dáil without proper debate.
