A teenager, who stabbed man after he had been caught trying to steal his car, has been given the Probation Act after paying €1,500 in compensation to his victim.

A teenager, who stabbed man after he had been caught trying to steal his car, has been given the Probation Act after paying €1,500 in compensation to his victim.

The Dublin Children’s Court heard that the teenage boy - aged 17 - had pleaded guilty earlier to stabbing the man in the Dunsink area in Finglas, on St Patrick’s Day last year.
