Taoiseach rejects criticism of Govt’s record on crime

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has rejected claims that the Government is losing its battle on crime.

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny claimed in the Dáil this morning that crime was out of control in certain areas of the country.
