Man arrested after death of non-national in Wexford

Gardaí in Wexford have arrested a man in connection with the death of a non-national in the town yesterday evening.

The dead man, a 29-year-old Latvian, died following an incident at a house in the Cromwellsfort area at around 7pm.

Meanwhile, gardaí in Enniscorthy are also investigating the suspicious death of an elderly woman in the town yesterday.

The woman's body was found at her home in St John's Villas shortly before 9pm and the scene has been sealed off pending technical examination.

Post mortems are due to be carried out on both bodies later today.
