Woman's condition serious after Garda car crash

A woman in her 70s is in a serious condition in hospital today after being struck by a garda patrol car in south Dublin yesterday afternoon.

The woman was waiting at a bus stop on Clonskeagh Road when she was struck by the vehicle shortly before 4pm.
