A surfer has been rescued off the coast of Co Mayo this afternoon.

A surfer has been rescued off the coast of Co Mayo this afternoon.

The alarm was raised shortly before 4pm when the woman was spotted in difficulties about a mile from Claggan Island, near Belmullet.
