Gardaí in Dublin are investigating the painting of anti-Semitic graffiti on a number of Jewish properties in south Dublin earlier this week.

Black swastikas were daubed on the walls of the Irish-Jewish museum in Portobello on Tuesday night, while a nearby synagogue and cemetery were also targeted.

The same properties were targeted by anti-Semitic vandals earlier this year.

The Government's National Consultative Committee on Racism and Interculturalism has previously said that it is aware of at least 10 anti-Semitic incidents in Ireland since last November.
