Armagh man asks IRA to reveal location of son's body

The father of a missing south Armagh man has called on the Provisional IRA to reveal the location of his son's body.

Mark O'Connor has accused the republican paramilitary group of abducting and killing his son Gareth.

The 24-year-old disappeared while on his way to Dundalk two years ago.

Mr O'Connor has claimed that, prior to the disappearance, the Provisional IRA had warned the family that they wanted to speak to Gareth about his links to dissident republicans.

Speaking about the matter this morning, he said: "I know Gareth's dead and I know the IRA murdered him and I know the IRA buried him, but I'll never give up hope that I'll get him back."
