DUP and SF expecting further gains in North elections

The Democratic Unionist Party and Sinn Féin are expected to make further gains over their rivals as counting continues in the North's local elections today.

With more than two-thirds of the almost 600 seats filled, the DUP is well in the lead, with Sinn Féin lying a strong second.
