Three people injured in explosion at Dublin office block
Three workmen have been injured, one of them seriously, in a minor explosion at an office block in central Dublin this morning.
The blast happened shortly after 8.30am at a building on the canal end of Lower Mount Street, when a faulty air-conditioning unit exploded while the three men were working to fix it.
Staff were immediately evacuated, but have since returned to work.
The injured workmen were taken to St Vincent’s Hospital with burns to their faces.
