Minister Ahern heads to New York for talks on arms control

The Minister for Foreign Affairs Dermot Ahern is travelling to New York to address a global conference on atomic arms control.

Ireland is one of several anti-nuclear countries who will lobby the nuclear powers to speed up disarmament.
