Tipperary accident victims named

The two people who died in road accidents in Co Tipperary this Bank Holiday weekend have been named.

Joseph Connors from Lacey Avenue, Templemore was killed yesterday afternoon when he was hit by a lorry on the N62. He was in his early 60s.

And the man who died following a three-car collision at Birdhill yesterday evening has been named as Michael Hassett. He was 81 and from Coosane, Birdhill.
