One man dead after Clonee shooting

A man has died following a shooting near Clonee, on the outskirts of Dublin, this morning.

The man was seriously injured in the incident, which occurred at 4.30am on Littlepace Road, near Clonee village in Co Meath.

He was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown where he died from his injuries.
