Ahern to meet Spanish PM

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern is due to travel to Madrid this morning for talks with Spanish Prime Minister Jose Manuel Zapatero.

The two men are due to discuss the success of the Spain's referendum on the EU Constitution and the referendum set to take place in Ireland within the next 18 months, as well as the possibility that the French electorate may reject the document.
