Gardaí 'let down' by pay increases

Gardaí feel completely let down by the "derisory" pay increases in the benchmarking process, it was claimed tonight.

The benchmarking body awarded the force an increase of 1.25% in 2001, 2.5% in 2004 and 1.25% this year.
