Man stable following shooting in Dublin

An 18-year-old man is recovering this morning after being injured in a shooting in the Ballymun area of Dublin.

The teenager was shot in the stomach and the arm by two men on a passing motorcycle outside a flats complex on Sillogue Avenue shortly after 9pm last night.

The victim was taken to the Mater Hospital, where he is said to be in a stable condition this morning.
