Man charged over Newry murder

A man was tonight charged with the murder of another man outside his home in Northern Ireland.

Johnny Graham, 20, was gunned down as he parked his car at the house in the border city of Newry, Co Down.

The victim was hit after a masked gunman opened fire and died later in hospital last Thursday.

Police tonight confirmed a 26-year-old suspect arrested over the killing has since been charged.

He is due to appear before magistrates in Armagh tomorrow.
