French vessel to be probed in Cobh

A French fishing vessel was detained off the Cork coast yesterday is due to arrive in Cobh harbour shortly.

It was stopped by the LE Aoife around 40 miles off the Old Head of Kinsale for an alleged breach of fishing regulations and was escorted overnight towards Cobh.
