Ahern refuses to reveal Aer Lingus position

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has refused to say yet whether he is in favour of the privatisation of Aer Lingus.

Yesterday, Transport Minister Martin Cullen said he would like to see a majority stake in the airline sold to the private sector in order to raise the funds needed for the airline to expand.
