Ahern reiterates Govt support for power-sharing

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has reiterated the Government's opposition to suggestions that the system of government contained in the Good Friday Agreement be abandoned.

Unionists have been calling for the d'Hondt system to be scrapped so a power-sharing Executive can be formed without Sinn Féin.
