Police investigate raid on Belfast security firm

Detectives in the North are investigating a £1m (€1.5m) robbery from a security firm in Belfast.

Raiders held a woman hostage during the theft from a cash delivery van.

She was taken from her home at Belvoir on the outskirts of the city. Her partner, who works for the Brink's security firm, was ordered to drive to the Upper Lisburn Road area and hand over the money.

The woman was then released unharmed.
