€7m spent on renewable energy, says report

Almost €7m has been spent in grant funding on renewable energy technologies research, development and demonstration projects in Ireland.

The figure was revealed at the launch of a report on renewable energy deployment in Ireland by David Taylor, chief executive of Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI).
