Four held over kickboxer's death

Four men have been arrested in relation to the fatal shooting of James Curran, a garda spokesman said today.

The 42-year-old champion kick-boxer was shot in the head during a karaoke session in the Green Lizard pub on Francis Street, Dublin, last week.

The men, who were arrested this morning, range in age from late 30s to late 40s.

They have been detained under section 30 of the offences against the state act at Kevin Street and Kilmainham garda stations, the spokesman said.
