EC to take legal action against Ireland

The European Commission has announced plans to take further legal action against Ireland for alleged breaches of environmental and health regulations.

The Commission said it had decided to take Ireland to the European Court of Justice in relation to two separate cases and to issue a written warning in relation to a third case.
