Huge aid convoy leaves for Belarus

Today will see the largest ever send-off of humanitarian aid from Irish soil for the survivors of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.

15 articulated trucks and 13 ambulances are packed with €2.5m worth of aid for orphanages, hospitals and homes throughout Belarus.
