Masses to remember Pontiff

Diocesan masses in memory of Pope John Paul II are due to be held in Armagh and Monaghan this evening.

The Pontiff will be remembered in a mass at St Patrick's Cathedral in Armagh at 7.30pm and at St Macartan's Cathedral in Monaghan at 8pm.

Books of condolence have also been opened at the Mansion House in Dublin and at the Papal Nunciature on the Navan Road in Dublin.
