Labour: M3 must be re-routed away from Hill of Tara

The Labour Party has called on Minister for the Environment Dick Roche not to approve the proposed route of the M3 motorway in Co Meath.

Reports this morning claimed the minister intended to allow the road to be built through the landscape surrounding the Hill of Tara, the ancient seat of the High Kings of Ireland.
