The Government is reportedly planning a concerted move to tackle educational disadvantage in poorer areas over the next five years.

Reports this morning said the five-year plan would include the creation of 300 new positions for teachers, home/school liaison officers and experts in literacy and numeracy at both primary and secondary level.
