The UK's National Health Service is set to build two new hospitals in the Fermanagh and Tyrone area.

Reports this morning said the local Sperrin Lakeland Health Trust was planning to construct a new hospital in Enniskillen and a facility in Omagh.

Last year, Omagh District Council lost a court action aimed at preventing the scrapping of acute services at the Tyrone County Hospital in the town.
