Consumers Association condemns planned BoI cutbacks
The Consumers Association has condemned Bank of Ireland's plans to lay off 2,100 workers and close a number of branches as part of a cost-cutting plan.
The bank announced the move this morning, saying it wanted to reduce its annual costs by €120m within four years.
