Two still in custody in relation to taxi driver death

Two people remain in garda custody this morning after they were arrested for questioning yesterday in connection with the murder of Ennis taxi driver Liam Moloney.

A 53-year-old man was arrested during a raid on a holiday home in a remote area of Co Kerry, while a 15-year-old youth was arrested in a follow-up operation in Shannon, Co Clare.

Mr Moloney, a 56-year-old father-of-four, was stabbed to death in his cab on the night of February 11.

His body was found in a field in Ruan, near Ennis, the following day, while his vehicle was found partially burned out in the village of Barefield.
