Ombudsman slams RUC investigation into Newry murder
The North's Police Ombudsman has ruled that the RUC did not conduct a proper investigation into a murder in Newry, Co Down, 15 years ago.
In a report published today, Nuala O'Loan said RUC special branch withheld crucial information from detectives investigating the IRA murder of 23-year-old Eoin Morley on Easter Sunday in 1990.
