A 29-year-old man is recovering in hospital in Drogheda today after he was injured in a paramilitary-style shooting last night.

A 29-year-old man is recovering in hospital in Drogheda today after he was injured in a paramilitary-style shooting last night.

The victim was abducted by up to four masked men in Monasterboice, Co Louth, at around 10pm.
