Man shot in both legs after abduction in Louth

A 29-year-old man is recovering in hospital in Drogheda today after he was injured in a paramilitary-style shooting last night.

The victim was abducted by up to four masked men in Monasterboice, Co Louth, at around 10pm.

He was taken to across the border to Jonesboro in south Armagh, where he was shot in both legs.
