Rosslare-Cherbourg ferry drifting off Cornwall coast
A passenger ferry en route from Rosslare to Cherbourg is drifting without power off the south coast of England.
The Bermuda-registered vessel, named Diplomat and run by Celtic Link ferries, has 72 passengers and 33 crew on board.
Its crew reported engine problems shortly before 6am this morning and Falmouth Coastguard has dispatched a tug boat.
The vessel is drifting off the west coast of Cornwall in an east-south-easterly direction.
It is expected that the crew will be able to restart the engines later today.
