Seal sanctuary to release two seal pups

Two seal pups rescued in Wexford by the Irish Seal Sanctuary will be released back into the wild this afternoon.

Two seal pups rescued in Wexford by the Irish Seal Sanctuary will be released back into the wild this afternoon.

Both came to the sanctuary suffering from malnutrition and infection.

The release will take place at Carna Beach beside the pier in Wexford town at 3pm.

The sanctuary is inviting families to go along to see the pups before they are freed into the wild.
