Two people killed as car collides with lorry in Galway

Two people have died after the car they were travelling in collided with an articulated lorry in Co Galway this morning.

The accident happened at around 6.30am on the N6 at Moyvilla in Oranmore.

Gardaí have yet to confirm the names, ages and gender of the victims.

The road between Oranmore and Craughwell has also been closed as a result of the accident.
