Greens to vote on All-Ireland proposal
Members of the Green Party in the Republic will vote tomorrow on a plan to merge with counterparts north of the border.
A vote on the proposed partnership is due to take place at a special convention in Dublin.
The Northern Ireland Green Party is also hoping to form an alliance with the Scottish Green Party as part of a larger plan to create a green movement representing all parts of Ireland and Britain.
The Northern Greens have failed to match the achievements of similar parties in the rest of Europe.
At present, Raymond Blaney is the party's sole councillor in the North.
