Bones found at Dart station

Part of Killiney Dart station was closed off today after bones were discovered there by workmen.

A number of bones were found shortly before midday on the beach-side of the station’s southbound platform.

A Garda spokeswoman said they would not know if the bones were human until a pathologist had examined them.

The scene has been preserved pending further investigation, but Dart services through the station have not been affected, she said.
