Gardaí seek help in missing person search

Gardaí in Wicklow are seeking assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 54-year-old Patrick Hoey who has been missing from his home in Phibsboro, Dublin for the past number of days.

Gardaí in Wicklow are seeking assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 54-year-old Patrick Hoey who has been missing from his home in Phibsboro, Dublin for the past number of days.

Patrick was last seen in the Glendalough Area of Wicklow on January 22, and his car was found parked and locked near the Upper Lake Glendalough on Sunday, January 23.

A number of extensive searches have been carried out in the area by gardaí and Mountain Rescue over the last number of days but to no avail.

Patrick is described as 54-years-old, of medium build and 5'9'' tall with grey hair, a moustache and large square gold-rimmed glasses.

Anyone who may have any information as to Patrick's whereabouts is asked to contact the Gardaí as soon as possible.
