35 schoolchildren discuss education with Minister Hanafin

A group of 35 children are taking part in a Dáil session this afternoon with Minister for Education, Mary Hanafin.

It is part of the 'Your Education System' process of public consultation on education.

Issues such as school rules, teaching methods and codes of behaviour are being discussed.

Thirteen-year-old Rachel Moore, a student at Laurel Hill Coláiste in Limerick said that children's first-hand experience could help government decision-making in the future.
