Latest figures show 422 A&E patients on trolleys

The situation in A&E departments in hospitals around the country is getting worse.

Figures for this afternoon show 422 patients on trolleys awaiting treatment.

There are more than 60 people on trolleys in Tallaght Hospital, 40 in Beaumont, with Letterkenny, Naas and Galway the others worst affected.
