Govt to spend €2.5m on road sign changeover campaign

The Government has officially launched an information campaign to prepare drivers for the planned changeover from miles to kilometres later this month.

From January 20, all speed limits and distances will be displayed in kilometres. Speed limits are also due to be changed to coincide with the changeover.
