Time running out for Belfast lottery winner

A UK lottery winner has just four weeks to claim a massive £7m (€10m) windfall on a ticket bought in Belfast or lose the lot, British National Lottery operator Camelot warned today.

The owner of the Lottery Extra ticket has failed to come forward to collect their millions since the draw last August.

Camelot said if the money was not claimed by the time the 180-day deadline from the date of the draw expires, the cash would be donated to good causes.

Details of the potentially life-changing windfall came as Camelot announced that more than £16.3m (€23m) in prizes from 2004 still have to be claimed.
