Man arrested in connection with murder of Co Down woman

Police in the North have arrested a man in connection with the murder of a woman in Co Down in the early hours of this morning.

The woman, who was in her early 40s, was found dead in a flat on Lismore Avenue in Bangor at around 2.30am.

The PSNI, which is examining the scene, has not revealed how she died.

Meanwhile, a 43-year-old man is due in court later today in connection with the murder of another woman in Co Fermanagh over the weekend.

The body of 37-year-old Kathleen Brady was found in a house on Corban Avenue in Enniskillen on Saturday night.
