Man held in North over woman's death
Police in Northern Ireland today launched a murder investigation after the body of a woman was found in a house in Enniskillen.
The body of Kathleen Brady, aged 37, was discovered last night in Corban Avenue.
A man arrested yesterday is being questioned by detectives.
DUP Assembly member Arlene Foster said the victim appeared to have been killed in a domestic incident.
“This is a terribly tragic thing to happen at any time of the year but it is all the more so in this case because it has happened at the start of the New Year,” she said.
“My sympathy goes out to the woman’s family, friends and neighbours.”
