An elderly cyclist has been killed in a traffic accident in Dublin city centre.

An elderly cyclist has been killed in a traffic accident in Dublin city centre.

The incident occurred on Grand Canal Place when the man, believed to be in his 70s, was knocked off his bike by a turning truck.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
